This handsome chap is named Otis, he is our stud. Otis is a 9 year old, American/English Golden, he definitely exhibits much more of the English style of Golden in both looks and personality. He's an extremely laid back, sweet, gentle boy that is just a joy to have around. He's a registered therapy dog (has been for 5 years now) and also has his K9 Good Neighbour certification. He's received his advanced obedience level in training, and loves scent detection and anything utility related! He has a great retrieving drive on both land and in water, and has a great willingness to please. He also loves to carry things in his mouth like a typical retriever! Otis is on the larger side of Goldens, with a gorgeous blocky head, and his coat is a water repellent medium length - very easy to maintain. We've x-rayed his elbows and hips with no dysplasia present. Please click the "Health" tab - there is a copy of his radiographs there. And he's been an extremely healthy boy his entire life. Otis has sired many health litters - his oldest litter being four years old with NO health problems. All of his pups get his flawless temperament and gorgeous head! RETIRED This is Wilma. She is our wonderful mama! Wilma is an American/English mix also but with more of the American traits. She's an amazing, fearless dog in the bush, has a great drive and would make a fantastic hunting dog. She is extremely obedient, and super fun to do anything with. She is an extremely sweet girl, that is very soft and gentle in her nature. She is also a registered therapy dog - and actually was the youngest dog to ever pass the evaluation (at 7 months). Wilma has a love for the water that I've never seen in a Golden before and LOVES to be wet any chance she gets. She's a born natural at dock diving and at retrieving, this girl just rocks! She has completed her advance level in obedience - Very excited for the future of her in both agility and dock diving! Wilma has blossomed into a beautiful girl, with a nice headset, and a solid frame. She has a versatile medium/shorter coat that's very easy to manage. She has had her elbows and hips xrayed under anesthetic and came back EXCELLENT..She has had 5 gorgeous litters with Otis and produced phenomenal dogs! We have kept a few of her daughters in our breeding program, she has been an excellent foundation female for Riverbend. Please visit out Facebook page for more updated photos.
This beautiful boy is one of our new studs at Riverbend, his name is Theo. He is a CKC registered cream male, from a lovely lineage of beautiful dogs. Theo is a very laid back, sweet, loving dog. He loves to please, and hold his "blankie" in his mouth. He is a fantastic addition to our kennel, bring that lovely blocky look, and outgoing, gentle personality. We are so happy to have him. He weighs in at around 65-70lbs, has a gorgeous thick cream coat. OFA hips - GOOD, CERF eye - pending, and heart clearance pending.

This stunning lady is Ivy - she is also a second generation Riverbend girl from the 3rd litter from Otis and Wilma.
Ivy is our darkest girl at Riverbend, and our little firecracker.
She weighs 65lbs, and has a wonderful balance of high drive and intelligence. She works hard, plays hard and loves hard. She is extremely outgoing and playful. She has her Canine Good Neighbor certification ( at 7 months). Shes an excellent swimmer, and loves to dock dive. She will do just about anything you as of her.. We love her!!
She has OFA prelims at 21 months, hips - EXCELLENT, and elbows - NORMAL. She has her CERF eye, and Heart clearance.
We plan to have her first litter summer of 2018. We predict some great puppy candidates for sport/hunting/working.
This gorgeous girl is VIVIAN , her parents are Otis and Wilma (from their last litter). She is a bigger girl sitting at 75lbs, but lean, tall and extremely athletic. She is a very sweet girl, with a great on/off switch, very balanced personality. She has a lovely shorter working type coat, cream/champagne in colour, and a big beautiful boxy head, with stunning pigment. We expect her pups would be fantastic therapy dog/service dog candidates. She loves everyone and everything, your classic Golden temperament.
This pretty lady is Luna, (Otis/Wilma daughter) she is another one of our darker coloured females. She can be higher energy, but has a lovely off switch, very confident and athletic dog, not a needy Golden in any way. She is an independent thinker and intelligent, she also would produce beautiful hunting/sport/working dogs. She is in the 60-65 bs range, shorter versitile coat, beautiful headset and pigment. She is an excellent swimmer, loves the water! We are very excited to see what kind of pups she graces us with!
I'd also like to add that our dogs are treated like the important family members that they are. We keep our dogs in top physical shape and are exercised daily. They also are completely up to date with vaccines, annual check ups, heartworm testing and prevention, parasite control, regularily bathed and groomed, and on premium veterinary exclusive diet. They live in the house with us, sleep in our bed, no kenneling. They are our family and only deserve the BEST. We have a great trusting relationship with our veterinarian - as you should!
